Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you visit VoriTrans, use translation features or contact support, and how to exercise your privacy rights.

Last updated: 2026-11-04

Privacy PolicyTerms of ServiceRefund Policy

1. Scope and contact

This policy covers the VoriTrans website and related services. “We” refers to the operator of VoriTrans. Contact the support address below about privacy or the identity of the relevant service provider. Feature-specific notices supplement this policy; third-party websites and services have their own policies.

2. Information involved

Depending on the features you use, information may include account and contact details you provide, order identifiers, payment status, membership and credit records, support correspondence, and technical information such as IP address, device or browser details, request times and error records. Only provide information needed for your request; do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers or unrelated sensitive documents.

3. Screen content and translation

The content you select for recognition or translation can include personal or confidential information. Local translation and cloud translation have different data flows. Cloud translation requires sending the relevant text and request information to remote services; image or OCR features may also require images where the selected mode uses remote processing. A local translation model does not mean that account, licensing, billing or update functions operate offline. Review the selected mode and its notices before processing confidential content. Do not submit another person’s information without an appropriate legal basis.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

Information is used as necessary to provide requested features, maintain accounts and entitlements, verify payments, answer support requests, prevent fraud, protect service security and meet legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on contractual necessity, legal obligations, proportionate legitimate interests or consent, as applicable. Optional processing that requires consent must be separately explained and consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Browser storage

The website uses browser storage to remember appearance and language choices and whether a language suggestion was dismissed. You can clear this information in your browser; preferences may then reset. Non-essential tracking, if introduced, requires an appropriate notice and any consent required by law before activation.

6. Service providers and disclosure

Hosting, infrastructure, selected cloud translation providers, payment services and support tools may receive information needed for their role. Payment providers may process payment details under their own notices. Information may also be disclosed where legally required, to protect lawful rights or to investigate fraud, subject to applicable safeguards. This policy does not authorize unrestricted disclosure or use of translation content for unrelated purposes.

7. Retention, model use and international processing

Retention must be limited to what is necessary for providing the relevant feature, security, resolving disputes and legally required records; data should then be deleted or anonymized. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period or that every external model provider has identical retention practices. Provider-specific retention and any model-training use must be disclosed for the relevant feature before processing, with a valid legal basis and any required consent. This policy itself is not consent to use private translation content for model training. Where data is processed outside your country, applicable transfer requirements and safeguards must be observed.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data-protection authority. Contact us using the address below, describe your request and provide only the information reasonably needed to verify it. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons; any refusal or limitation must have a lawful basis. We respond within the period required by applicable law.

9. Security and children

Appropriate technical and organizational safeguards should protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and credentials secure. The service is not directed at children below the age at which they can legally consent to the relevant processing; where required, a parent or guardian must authorize use. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information without the required authorization.

10. Changes

The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice; where consent is required, an updated policy alone does not replace that consent. Existing statutory privacy rights remain unaffected.
